Jakes van Strijp
Director
Jakes, a former Regional Court Prosecutor in the Department of Justice, joined the firm in 1989 as a Candidate Attorney. He became a partner upon admission as an Attorney in 1991 and completed post-graduate diplomas in Labour Law and Human Rights. Having spent years in litigation, Jakes now specialises in Labour Law, Estate Administration, Estate Planning and Trust Law.
Hardus Blignaut
Director
Hardus commenced his articles with the firm in 1997. After being admitted as an Attorney in 2001, he left the firm to work in the United Kingdom. Hardus returned to the firm in 2003 and became a director in 2004. He is a qualified Conveyancer and Notary and leads our Conveyancing Department. In addition to his expertise in Conveyancing, Hardus also specialises in Commercial Contract Law and Notarial Law.
Louise Cloete
Professional Assistant
Louise was admitted as Attorney and Conveyancer in 2020, after completing her articles in Pretoria. Louise thereafter worked in the Conveyancing Department of a Nelspruit firm where she gained practical experience in the operations of the Deeds Office, providing her with valuable insights Conveyancers practising in the countryside often lack. Louise qualified as a Notary and then joined our firm in 2022, contributing greatly to the success of our Conveyancing Department.
